I'm using AR5416 (WMP300N v2) chipset with latest compat-wireless ath9k driver. when I do iw list, it only shows the card speed till 54mb. Do i need something to enable the for n capabilities?

The supported MCS indexes are entangled above. You could use the iw patch I
posted yesterday to decipher it. It has not yet been merged. But I can also
already tell you your card supports up to MCS index 15.

Hi,

May I ask: which mailing list was this patch sent to ?
I looked for something like iw mailing list and could not find any. I
assume you are not talking about wireless-testing mailing list.
> It has not yet been merged.
do you mean merging into the iw git tree?

Mark

Our Linux-wireless kernel mailing list:
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/developers/MailingLists

Yeah we just use linux-wireless for iw's patches as well as crda and wireless-regdb.
I'll add this to the iw wiki page when wireless.kernel.org comes back up. I think
the other userspace things do mention linux-wireless though.

Yes. Its now there so you can pull from it and get that.
