Acked-by and S-o-b take an email address as well so people can start
sending hatemail when things introduce bugs ;)

or in other words, use the form: Acked-by: Rolf Leggewie
<some@email.address>

And yes, the brackets are important. THey help patchwork pick up the
patches.

OK,, thanks. Can the ACK be done from patchwork while I am logged in?
I kind of hate to have to type all this or copy it from somewhere every
time.

No, this is an annoying feature. Patchwork is designed to track mailing
list traffic, not replace it.

I manage the problem of acking patches I deleted by subscribing to
oe.dev via gmane nntp using thunderbird. Then I can ack patches from there.

:-/

I'm starting to miss the old and simple days of "+1" I don't think I'm
capable of more than that ;-)

> Patchwork is designed to track mailing list traffic, not replace it.

valid point, but then again patchwork could be made to send the mail on
my behalf.

patchwork can do that, but we disabled the 'impersonate' feature.

Koen

Hmm, I don't see it.

Anyway, this page has some background on patchwork:
