Day @ 2019-07-30 14:22 UTC (permalink / raw) To: Kernel Newbies another kbuild-related question -- from kconfig-language.rst: - default value: "default" <expr> ["if" <expr>] A config option can have any number of default values. If multiple default values are visible, only the first defined one is active. Default values are not limited to the menu entry where they are defined. This means the default can be defined somewhere else or be overridden by an earlier definition. wait ... default values can be defined elsewhere from the menu entry for which that default is to be set? i was unaware of this; can someone provide an example? or am i misreading this? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
