When I turn off the computer, it hangs on the logo. The light on the system
unit continues to light. Does not respond to the keyboard. Kernel version
5.0.0-27. Here is the error:

Sometimes, when I turn off the computer, it hangs on the logo. I can not turn
off the computer using alt + SysRq + REISUO. The light on the system unit
continues to light, and the fan runs. This is a problem with kernel 5.0, 5.3

I see that you've already filed an ubuntu bug.

Certainly, having it assigned to the upstream ext4 group is not going to yield
progress here, as there is no indication whatsoever that it's an ext4 bug.

If ubuntu is able to triage the bug to an actual upstream kernel bug, please
reopen a bug against the proper kernel component if/when the root cause is
identified.

It was assigned to the upstream ext4 group, which meant no one was going to be
paying attention to it (the ext4 file system team does not look at ACPI issues)
and the bug is versus a distribution kernel.   If you can reproduce the problem
using the latest upstream kernel, then you can file a bug reporting to the ACPI
mailing list.  But it is often much more efficient to let the distribution's
kernel team triage the bug first.
