This is annoying:
HOSTCC samples/vfs/test-fsinfo
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lm
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lc
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Sorry, yes. I've been building on one system and running on an older one and
the libraries are incompatible. I need to undo that bit.
