The boot fails silently with no output after the bootloader:

which isn't much to go on, it does seem to have been OK in
multi_v7_defconfig though.

In both cases it seems like it boots quite a way through but hangs at
some point trying to get userspace:

multi_v7_defconfig comes up fine on those systems, looking at the boot
reports for them it jumps out at me that the regulators never appear and

Thanks for the report, adding Kevin to Cc. I think this is the same
board that seems to have started randomly failing?
