Hi all,

there has been quite some activity regarding shared host-wide tag
support for legacy HBAs, with several proposals floating around, but so
far no consensus has been reached.
Additionally some hardware (like megaraid or mpt3sas) have an internal
queue split between 'normal' and 'high-priority' queues, which have no
direct equivalent in blk-mq.
I would like to discuss the best way forward for the shared tags
implementation, and also if the 'blk_poll' interface to support io_uring
can be mapped on the 'high-priority' queues existing in this hardware.

Required participants:
I would like to invite Ming Lei and John Garry, seeing that they
contributed to this effort. Also hardware developers from Broadcom for
the megaraid and mpt3sas drivers would be helpful as they could add
some insights into the hardware.

Cheers,

Hannes
