Hi all folks,

Just join this list.

I have

kernel-2.4.18-18.8.0
kernel-source-2.4.18-18.8.0

running in my system and I need "kernel-headers-2.4.18-18.8.0" working
with them. Google.com could not find it.

Kindly advise where can I have it downloaded.

Thanks in advance.

B.Regards
Stephen Liu

why would you need glibc headers ????

Hi,

RH 8.0
======

Thanks for your response.

I am going to install alsa and oss sound packages which need

kernel (kernel-2.4.18-18.8.0 already running in my OS)
kernel-source (kernel-source-2.4.18-18.8.0 already running in my OS)
kernel-headers

and I could not find "kernel-header-2.4.18-18.8.0" from Internet. Can I
use "kernel-headers" of different version (from RH8.0 CD)?

B.Regards
Stephen

Those look like Red Hat Linux packages. If they are, have a look on any
of the Red Hat Linux mirror sites, found under www.RedHat.com on the
surfboard.

Best wishes from Riley.

It seems you have a Red Hat Linux system. So, you should look for
glibc-kernheaders at ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux or from
http://rpmfind.net.

I think this question should be directed to the mailing list for your
Linux distribution (e.g, shrike-list@redhat.com for Red Hat Linux 9)
instead of Linux Kernel.
