Subject: [PATCH V6 5/5] perf/x86/intel: Add counter freezing quirk for Goldmont
Date: Mon, 21 Jan 2019 13:42:31 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1548106951-4811-5-git-send-email-kan.liang@linux.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1548106951-4811-1-git-send-email-kan.liang@linux.intel.com>

From: Kan Liang <kan.liang@linux.intel.com>

A microcode patch is also needed for Goldmont while counter freezing
feature is enabled. Otherwise, there will be some issues, e.g. PMI lost.
