Hi.
Just patched pre8 with ide-convert-9, and system hangs on boot:

PIIX4: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later

convert.8 also hangs. convert.6 worked in my latest 2.4.19-pre7-jam6.
Now I'm building -pre8-jam1, and the jump from convert.6 to convert.9
does not work. Bott is fine without the patch, with included ide.
Only option yet to be tested is convert.7...
