Is the new console layer that is sitting in dj tree going to be merged

I actually dropped the remants a while ago, as whilst James starting
merging some of the console/tty/fb changes with Linus, it became a pain
to try and track what to keep/drop.

I've no idea how much is left for him to push these days.
