2.4.23-pre4 deadlocks while 2.4.22aa1 works fine (under heavy VM load that
is).
[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
While -aa VM kills the offending process (please refer the sample script),
2.4.23-pre4 deadlocks and doesn't do much.

Workaround: Use 2.4.22aa1 instead :-).
In the case of 2.4.22aa1 the VM kills the offending process (after killing few
innocent ones along the way :-), and then everything is fine. But in
2.4.23-pre4 everything stops working (for eg, the vmstat session doesn't
progress etc..).
