Note, I've applied this to kernels older than 4.12 as well, as the issue
seems to also be there as well, right?

Indeed, I was going to point out that the "v4.12+" was wrong but you already
figured it out.  The code is reachable through RSA (via asymmetric_keys) in
older kernel versions.
