Subject: [PATCH v2 07/33] kmsan: Remove a useless assignment from kmsan_vmap_pages_range_noflush()
Date: Tue, 21 Nov 2023 23:01:01 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20231121220155.1217090-8-iii@linux.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20231121220155.1217090-1-iii@linux.ibm.com>
The value assigned to prot is immediately overwritten on the next line
with PAGE_KERNEL. The right hand side of the assignment has no
side-effects.
Fixes: b073d7f8aee4 ("mm: kmsan: maintain KMSAN metadata for page operations")
