Hello,
I have a new board, the MSI KT6-Delta, with a VIA Apollo KT600 chip set.
The southbridge is the VIA VT8237 with S-ATA. But the Kernel can't find
any s-ata harddisk?!?
Can anybody help me?
Thanx, EnricoB

First of all - what drivers are you trying to run ?
I take it you're running libata and it works for me just fine on my Soyo
SY-KT600 Ultra Platinum Edition board..

It doesn't support the SATA portion of the 8237. Grab libata and use
that instead, then the harddrive will show up as a scsi drive.

VIA82C... isn't a SATA driver.
You would need Jeff Garzik's libata patches. It has a VIA driver in theory.
Unfortunately last time I tested it also didn't work, but that
was on a different VIA chipset.
