We are happy to announce a new version of the partitioning hypervisor
Jailhouse. It's a smaller update than the last release, 86 patches (105
files changed, 2420 insertions, 1155 deletions), mostly fixing smaller
issues and adding few features, also nothing major.

Key changes since the last release:
 - hypervisor debug console accessible from root Linux cell
(as long as that cell did not die)
 - support for Denverton Intel SoC by enhancing x86 UART support
 - gcov code coverage statistics
   (required for code qualification e.g.)
 - configuration for Orange Pi Zero

You can download the new release from

    https://github.com/siemens/jailhouse/archive/v0.7.tar.gz

then follow the README.md for first steps on recommended evaluation
platforms and check the tutorial session from last ELC-E [1][2]. Drop us
a note on the mailing list if you run into trouble.

What is in the queue now? Ralf Ramsauer has enabled our ARM inmate demos
to run on bare metal which allows for better comparison of tests and
benchmarks. Execution path tracing is another topic, needed for our
safety qualification work, but possibly useful beyond. And we want to
finalize the shared memory device design - ivshmem v2 or vhost-pci v2.1,
stay tuned. Last but not least, we applied for one slot in GSoC (via
QEMU) and are now waiting for the result. Topic: much nicer
configuration files and workflows.

This release was almost in time, just one month late. So let's see if we
can do better next time and schedule it again for /now + 3 months, i.e.
early August.
