* Mainboard on which X86_UP_IOAPIC works? (mine crashes hard)

I'm looking to replace my mainboard, and need some help.

I've got a Biostar M7VIB KT266 MB (w/ up-to-date BIOS), and my system
crashes reliably when UP-IO-APIC is enabled. In order to run linux at
all I have to disable it in the BIOS settings.

So... I'd like to find a board where people are currently running
UP-IOAPIC and don't get "APIC error on CPU[0]..." yadda errors preceding
a nice solid crash.

Anyone?

Abit KV7 works great for me with -test11.

Would you postulate that since the KV7 is a KT600, that the Asus A7V600
would also be "ok"? I ask because my local parts hole has the Asus and
not the Abit...

Anyone here use either of the following and run X86_UP-IOAPIC?
	Asus A7V600
	Gigabyte 7VT600-L

I'd gamble and say probably yes, since the hardware is pretty much the
same. I know that the BIOS can have some impact on this, though.

Since the reported APIC errors are a result of a bad design of inter-APIC
wiring, chances are the same chips may work just fine on one board and do
not work on another one. Even routing of traces on the PCB is important.
