Asynchronous interrupt is a mechanism that allow SDIO devices alarm
interrupt when host stop providing clock to card. Add a DT flag to
enable this feature if it is supported by SDIO card.

If cap-sdio-async-irq flag is set in host dts node, parse EAI
information from SDIO CCCR interrupt externsion segment. If async
interrupt is supported by SDIO card then send command to card to
enable it and set enable_async_irq flag in sdio_cccr structure to 1.
The parse flow is implemented in sdio_read_cccr().

Add support for eint IRQ when MSDC is used as an SDIO host. This
feature requires SDIO device support async IRQ function. With this
feature, SDIO host can be awakened by SDIO card in suspend state,
without additional pin.

MSDC driver will time-share the SDIO DAT1 pin. During suspend, MSDC
turn off clock and switch SDIO DAT1 pin to GPIO mode. And during
resume, switch GPIO function back to DAT1 mode then turn on clock.

Some device tree property should be added or modified in MSDC node
to support SDIO eint IRQ. Pinctrls named state_dat1 and state_eint
are mandatory. And cap-sdio-async-irq flag is necessary since this
feature depends on asynchronous interrupt:
        &mmcX {
                ...
                pinctrl-names = "default", "state_uhs", "state_eint",
                                "state_dat1";
                ...
                pinctrl-2 = <&mmc2_pins_eint>;
                pinctrl-3 = <&mmc2_pins_dat1>;
                ...
                cap-sdio-async-irq;
                ...
        };

Who is they, why their SoB appeared here?

Since both of them are local variables and there is no specific use of the
returned value, I believe it's fine just to

	irq = gpiod_to_irq(desc);
	...

Hmm... I was wondering if you can use fwnode_irq_get_byname().
Ah, it's not (yet) in upstream.

I should keep the publish year 2014 of this driver.
But I still think range 2014-2022 is the most appropriate way to change
the copyright time. Over these years, mediatek is keeping maintaining
this driver continuously. What do you think?

I agree, will fix in next version.

And you will need to add a corresponding tag.

I guess I already showed my opinion on the topic? The common sense tells
me that it should be as simple as '2014-2015,2022' there.

We already have a DT property for this, I believe.

"wakeup-source" is probably what you want, but we have additional
properties that are related to this too. See more below.

> +
>    cap-sdio-irq:
>      $ref: /schemas/types.yaml#/definitions/flag
>      description:

The above, "cap-sdio-irq", informs whether the SDIO IRQs can be
supported at all, by the host controller.

The property "keep-power-in-suspend" informs whether we can preserve
the power to the card during a suspend/resume cycle. This should be
needed in your case too, I think.

In other words, you may need to combine "cap-sdio-irq",
"wakeup-source" and "keep-power-in-suspend" to describe your HW.

However, what perhaps is missing, is a common MMC/SDIO binding that
let us describe an optional irq-line, which sometimes is being used
for the wakeup irq. In the sdhci-omap case, we look for an irq mapping
towards "wakeup" if specified in the "interrupt-names" property.

In some case, when the SDIO card supports an out-of-band IRQ line, the
similar should be specified in the child-node corresponding to the
SDIO card.

Kind regards
Uffe

Yes, the intention of the patchset is to wakeup SDIO host in
runtime/system suspend state within SDIO DAT1(in-band wakeup).

I will implement it with "wakeup-source", thanks for your review.
