Subject: [PATCH 33/38] trace-cmd: Have cpu_count reside in instances and not be global
Date: Wed, 03 Jan 2018 12:52:35 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180103175339.631944908@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20180103175202.044283643@goodmis.org

[-- Attachment #1: 0033-trace-cmd-Have-cpu_count-reside-in-instances-and-not.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 17059 bytes --]

From: "Steven Rostedt (Red Hat)" <rostedt@goodmis.org>

In order to be able to record remote machines (virtual or network) and
interleave it with the host traces, we need to support various amounts of
cpu counts. Move the CPU count from being global, to being in the instance.
