Hi,

The new NXP BSP is based on kirkstone, with kernel 5.15.
I'd like to backport a linux-imx 5.10 based kernel, since most of our
i.MX6 and i.MX8 hardware is maintained there.

I have a couple of questions:

1) Given that graphical acceleration is a requirement, there are any
blockers? (dependencies on Vivante blobs, etc..)

2) Would it be more beneficial to port our BSP on 5.15?

3) Is it possible to upstream our patches to NXP or it would be better
to upstream them to mainline?

Thanks,
Ettore

Best is to sent to mainline linux kernel (when possible).

Francesco
