Yup.

But then, this all really should be done at the block layer so other
io-submitting-paths can benefit from it.

IOW, maybe "the sort queue is the submission queue" wasn't a good idea.

Yup.

But then, this all really should be done at the block layer so other
io-submitting-paths can benefit from it.

IOW, maybe "the sort queue is the submission queue" wasn't a good idea.
