USB PD controllers which consisting of a microcontroller (acting as the TCPM)
and a port controller (TCPC) - may require that the driver for the PD
controller accesses directly also the on-chip port controller in some cases.

Move tcpci.h to include/linux/usb/ is convenience access TCPC registers.

Which comment? This is very vague, it's almost like "made changes".

We need specifics here, otherwise it's impossible to review. Would you
want to see this as a changelog statement for something you spent time
in reviewing?

Also, your changelog itself needs more text, as to what type of device
this is and more information about it if possible.

thanks,

Again, you are not checking the return value here. What happens if this
failed?

Same with all of these, what happens if this fails?

Could you also add a line to that comment that tells what this driver
is? So something like this:

/*
 * Driver for Analogix ANX7411 USB Type-C and PD controller
 *
 * Copyright(c) 2022, Analogix Semiconductor. All rights reserved.
 */

thanks,

generic node name, so maybe usb-typec?

If fixed, keep Rob's Rb comment.

I think usb-c-connector requires "ports" node, doesn't it?

Hi Krzysztof Kozlowski, thanks for comment, I'll fix it in the next
serial.

Thanks,
