I'm trying to bring up an RTOS (vxworks) using u-boot and have had some
"partial" success:

If I use the 2014 u-boot that comes with Quartus 18.1 (a tarball in the
download), vxworks successfully boots.

If I clone the github repo
(https://github.com/altera-opensource/u-boot-socfpga.git) and build
u-boot from that (2020), vxworks fails to boot. What appears to be
happening is an (fpga?) watchdog timer goes off and a HW reset is
called. Then of course, u-boot reboots.

Any thoughts? Why would this occur with the newer u-boot and not with
the older u-boot?

---John

Hello,

I see that grub-devel changed from bzr to git.

What will be the equivalent of: http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/lh/grub/trunk/grub/changes ? This link does not work anymore.

How to find what is the GRUB version, from the current snapshot taken from git (git clone git://git.savannah.gnu.org/grub.git)?

Thank you,
Zoran

I just dd'ed a 700MB iso to /dev/null, dd returned 33MB/s.
Isn't that a little slow?
System is a sil3114 4 port sata 1 controller with 4 samsung spinpoint 250GB,
8MB cache in raid 5 on a Athlon XP 2000+/512MB.
