Could please suggest me the place where I can guide the students to send the device driver? To show students how to contribute to the Linux kernel you can find small coding style issues in the drivers/staging/ directory and send them to Greg KH. We are doing this every year and its a lot of fun. You can start with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLBrBBImJt4 thanks, Daniel. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 9+ messages in thread

Afterwards you can get the Emails together and discuss their results. I suppose you do not intend to send dummy-patches to a real maintainer for getting his feedback? Just drop me a line and I'm gonna set it up for you. 4) If you need something completely else, ask more precisely! ;) Cheers, Lukas On Thu, 25 Jun 2015 at 14:44 Mayur Patil <linuxcraz23@gmail.com> wrote: > Yes Lukas right I want to do the same. > > Please help if you can. > > Thanks !! > > > On Thu, Jun 25, 2015 at 4:36 AM, Lukas Elsner <kernel-dev@lukaselsner.de> > wrote: > >> Hi, >> If i do not completely misunderstand you, I think you need some kind of >> mailbox where the students can submit their patches. I also know that we can send patches/drivers to majordomo at vger.kernel.org But sending sample device drivers to that list will not be good etiquette. That's why I am asking.
