This is due to a dependency on one of Deepa's patches that is
currently in linux-next,
scheduled for 4.18-rc1, but that won't be in 4.17.
It seems likely that we won't come to a conclusion in time for 4.18
anyway, so that's
probably fine. If we want the patches in 4.18, I can come up with a
different way of
doing this.
