Cool. Well, in fact the HWMOD_EXT_OPT_MAIN_CLK patch is already good enough assuming we make it a little bit more generic. Here is your patch sightly updated manually to make it more generic. The data will have to add some relevant comment on top of the flag to cleary indicate the reason of that dependency. IP blocks marked with this flag are left in the INITIALIZED state during kernel init.
