It depends if the binding is going to be preserved. Also this series doesn't
answer to the question what to do with the old driver.
If you leave it, I would expect the backward compatibility, otherwise the
series misses removal of the old driver.

It depends if the binding is going to be preserved. Also this series doesn't
answer to the question what to do with the old driver.
